Total CBM Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. (TCBM) has a state-of-the-art mobile field desorption laboratory facility, built on a self propelled/air-conditioned mobile van, for rig-site measurement of desorbed gas. This facility is the first of its kind in India.
TCBM has the required facilities, in their Base Lab, for conducting measurement of residual gas, proximate analysis and other studies for calculating the total desorbed gas (lost gas + desorbed gas + residual gas) of the coal core samples captured from the exploratory well. All these are in operation for more than last 5 years and TCBM has completed tests successfully in more than 20 wells.
TCBM has commissioned 2 (two) Isotherm units to conduct Adsorption Isotherm studies of coal samples. These units are of international standard and the lab is capable of carrying out isotherm studies and submitting reports as per the best industry standards.
TCBM also has an updated version of the Gas Chromatograph for automatically analyzing composition of CBM gas samples drawn in the course of desorption studies in the well site or their base lab.
